When one approaches the building of the Rhin Garden Hotel, the design stands out both for its simplicity and for the quality of the materials, whose architectural project is the work of the Cantabrian architect Javier de Diego, together with Sandra Tarruella Interiorismo and David de Añibarro, responsible for the landscaping of the garden and swimming pool. The project, already a reality, arises from the conversion and modification of two former hostels, becoming today this modern hotel in which wellbeing and relaxation predominate in its 26 rooms.
A spacious lobby with a painting by Carla Tarruella in deer green welcomes the traveller, in a space designed as the entrance to a house, seeking comfort and wellbeing, with decoration inspired by the 50's, in toasted tones.
The interior design is dominated by neutral tones complemented by exposed wooden beams and walnut furniture, with a carefully chosen selection of timeless upholstery and strategically placed mirrors, emphasising the importance of the views to the outside and creating a warm, homely atmosphere, which is very important in this hotel concept.
When it comes to enjoying the Bar-Restaurant, there is a bar with accessible shelves designed to be used at different times of the day, allowing you to place the buffet for breakfast and enjoy a cocktail in the evening.
And all this with a visual strategy aimed at the most striking point: the garden, with a concrete slab floor together with the abundant native vegetation, furnished with specialised outdoor furniture that combines different shades and materials, creating a harmonious atmosphere and where a swimming pool shimmers like an aquamarine among the vegetation.
Inside, the rooms are warmly furnished and decorated in a way that is both natural and visually connected to the outside environment.
It is worth highlighting the importance of technology throughout the complex, especially in the rooms. Domotics, through a small screen in the room, is used to choose the temperature of the room as well as the personalised lighting, both in the room and in the bathrooms, or to warn that the room is free for cleaning or "do not disturb" (the already well-known signs to hang on the doors have been eliminated).
